Cookies & Storage Policy

1. The short version
ApnaChowk uses only the cookies and storage the site needs to work — to keep you signed in, protect your account and remember your choices — unless you agree to more. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you turn them on, and you can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
2. What we store on your device
Every item below is necessary: the site cannot work, or cannot keep you safe, without it. None is used for analytics, advertising or tracking. Nothing optional is stored unless you agree to it, and if you do, the item is added to this list.

3. Third-party cookies
The only time a third party may set a cookie is if you use the type-to-search location box, which uses a third-party maps service — that service may set its own cookies. If you use your device’s GPS or a preset location instead, this does not happen. No analytics or advertising service is switched on today. If one is switched on later, it is loaded only if you agree to its category, and it is listed here first.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether we may use analytics and marketing cookies. “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”, and nothing is pre-ticked. We keep a record of each choice — the choice, the policy version, the time and the language — with a random number from the consent cookie and, if you are signed in, your account. We ask again if this policy changes or after 12 months. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time; withdrawing stops the optional cookies straight away.
5. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing them will sign you out and remove your saved preferences, including your cookie choice. Signing out of ApnaChowk also clears your login tokens and the functional cookies.
