In short
- ApnaChowk connects workers and employers. We are not the employer, and we are not a party to the work you agree.
- You must be 18 or older, and the details you give must be true.
- Work, wages and payment for work are agreed and settled directly between the worker and the employer. That money does not pass through us.
- Credits and boosts you buy are paid to us. You can ask for a refund within 48 hours of buying; credits already spent and boosts already running are not refunded.
- Treat others with respect. Misuse, false information or breaking the law can get an account suspended. You can report or block anyone in the app.
- You can delete your account at any time. Disputes are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have jurisdiction.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the digital platform, including the website(s), mobile application(s), web portals, and any associated tools or services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by ApnaChowk Private Limited (CIN: U63122BR2026PTC088110) ("ApnaChowk", the "Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using the Platform, you ("User", "you", or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines published on the Platform, as may be updated from time to time. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform.
If you access or use the Platform on behalf of a company, partnership, organization, or any other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are duly authorized to bind such entity to these Terms, and references to "you" shall include both you and such entity.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Company and each User governing the access to and use of the Platform and the Services provided through it.
Apna Chowk is a digital Platform operated by ApnaChowk Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). The Company operates a technology-enabled Platform that connects workers, employers, and businesses through its Website and/or mobile application. The Platform enables Users to create profiles, post job opportunities, search for suitable workers or employment opportunities, and facilitate bookings and workforce engagement.
The Company leverages technology-driven solutions, including location-based services and automated systems, to facilitate efficient worker-employer matching, manage bookings, improve Platform security, and enhance the overall user experience. Users may upload or provide information, including profile details, contact information, job-related information, location data, photographs, and other relevant information for the purpose of availing the Services offered through the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under applicable law
- All information provided by you is true, accurate, complete, and kept up to date
- You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws
- If you access or use the Platform on behalf of an organisation or business, you are duly authorised to bind such organisation or business to these Terms.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if it reasonably believes that any of the above representations are false or have been breached.
Use of the Platform involves the collection and processing of Personal Data for purposes including:
- Account registration and verification
- Creation and management of worker and employer profiles
- Facilitating job postings, worker-employer matching, bookings, and related Services
- Providing customer support, Platform security, and service improvement.
All processing of Personal Data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The Company acts solely as an intermediary technology Platform. Where Users voluntarily share their information with other Users through the Platform, such sharing is at their own discretion, and the Company shall not be responsible for any processing of such information outside the Platform or beyond its control.
The Company processes Personal Data solely for legitimate purposes, including providing the Services, facilitating worker-employer matching, managing bookings, maintaining Platform security, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable laws.
By submitting Personal Data through the Platform, you grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive licence to process such data solely for the purpose of providing the Services. Personal Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.
You represent and warrant that any information or content submitted by you is accurate, lawfully obtained, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Users intending to access or use the Platform as workers, employers, or businesses must register and maintain a valid account and comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
- Users represent and warrant that the information provided during registration and while using the Platform is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
- Workers and employers shall use the Platform only for lawful purposes and shall comply with all applicable labour, employment, contractual, and other applicable laws.
- Users are solely responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts, including profile information, job postings, communications, bookings, and any arrangements entered into with other Users through the Platform.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and must promptly notify the Company of any unauthorized use of their account.
The Company reserves the right to monitor Platform usage and may suspend, restrict, or terminate any User account, without prior notice, where it reasonably believes that a User has violated these Terms, provided false or misleading information, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activities, or otherwise poses a risk to the safety of other Users or the integrity of the Platform.
Users may be required to create and maintain an account to access certain features of the Platform. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to promptly update such information whenever necessary.
The Platform uses your registered mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) for authentication and does not require password-based login. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your registered mobile number, as any person with access to your mobile number and OTP may be able to access your account.
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your registered mobile number, one-time passwords (OTPs), and any other account authentication credentials
- All activities carried out through your account
- Promptly notifying the Company of any unauthorized access to, or suspected misuse of your account.
You must not share, transfer, or allow any other person to use your account. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials or comply with these Terms.
The Company operates solely as an intermediary technology Platform that facilitates connections between workers, employers, and other Users. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as creating any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or contractor relationship between the Company and any User.
Workers and employers are independent parties and are solely responsible for negotiating, agreeing upon, and fulfilling the Terms of any work arrangement, including the nature of the work, wages, payment, timing, quality, and performance. The Company does not endorse, supervise, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any engagement, agreement, or dispute between Users and shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from such arrangements.
The Platform is provided solely to facilitate connections between workers, employers, and other Users. The Company does not guarantee that any job posting will result in employment, that any worker will be hired, or that any engagement will be successfully completed.
The Company does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, quality, suitability, qualifications, availability, conduct, or performance of any User, job posting, or work opportunity. Users are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying the information provided by other Users and for making their own decisions regarding any engagement or transaction facilitated through the Platform.
The Platform and its Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties, except as required under applicable law.
You agree that, while accessing or using the Platform, you shall not:
- Provide any false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information, including profile details, job postings, skills, qualifications, work experience, or business information
- Impersonate any person or entity, create fraudulent accounts, or misrepresent your identity or authority
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its systems, networks, or security features
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purpose, including posting fake job opportunities, misleading Users, or engaging in activities that violate applicable laws or the rights of other Users.
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to investigate any suspected violation of these Terms and to take appropriate action, including restricting access to the Platform or suspending or terminating your account without prior notice, where it reasonably believes that these Terms or applicable laws have been violated.
All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, content, graphics, text, databases, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without the Company's prior written consent.
Users retain ownership of the content and information they upload or submit through the Platform. By submitting such content, you grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and use such content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and promoting the Platform and providing the Services.
The Platform facilitates connections between workers and employers and enables Users to post jobs, search for opportunities, and manage bookings. The Company acts solely as an intermediary technology platform and is not a party to any employment, service, or contractual arrangement between Users.
All job engagements, bookings, payments, wages, work schedules, and other Terms are agreed directly between the worker and the employer. The Company does not guarantee the availability of workers or job opportunities, the successful completion of any engagement, or the performance, quality, safety, or outcome of any work. Accordingly, the Company shall not be liable for any cancellations, disputes, non-performance, payment defaults, or losses arising out of or in connection with any arrangement between Users.
ApnaChowk operates a technology platform that facilitates connections between individuals and businesses seeking work ("Employers") and individuals offering their skills or services ("Workers"). ApnaChowk is not an employer, contractor, staffing agency, or party to any work arrangement formed through the platform. All terms of any engagement — including scope, wage, timing, and conditions of work — are agreed directly between the Worker and the Employer. ApnaChowk does not supervise, direct, or control any work performed.
ApnaChowk provides safety tools, guidance, and trust signals, but does not and cannot guarantee the safety of any worksite, the quality of any work, or the conduct of any Worker or Employer. Responsibility for a safe and lawful working relationship rests with the Worker and the Employer.
ApnaChowk does not currently offer booking protection or insurance of any kind. No cover is in force for any booking made through the platform, no protection fee is charged, and no insurer has been appointed. ApnaChowk is not an insurer and is not engaged in the business of provision, sale, or distribution of insurance. If booking protection is offered in future, it will be provided and underwritten solely by a licensed third-party insurer, and will be subject in all respects to that insurer's policy terms, conditions, and exclusions. ApnaChowk would not pay claims and accepts no liability for any claim decision.
If booking protection is offered in future and you accept a booking for which it applies, you will be consenting to ApnaChowk sharing the limited personal data necessary to arrange and administer that cover with the licensed insurer, solely for that purpose, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

The Platform uses credits to enable certain features, including revealing another User's contact details for the purpose of communicating directly through the Platform. Credits are provided both as free grants and through paid credit packs, which are offered in three sizes: 20 credits for ₹99, 50 credits for ₹199, and 100 credits for ₹349. All prices on the Platform are stated in Indian Rupees.
The Company does not collect, receive, hold, process, or facilitate payments relating to any work, services, wages, or other arrangements between workers and employers. All payments for work performed are negotiated and settled directly between the worker and the employer outside the Platform, and the Company is not a party to such transactions.
The Company also offers paid visibility features, known as boosts. An employer may boost a job posting so that it appears higher in the relevant listings for a fixed period, at ₹49 for 3 days, ₹99 for 7 days, or ₹299 for 30 days. A worker may feature their own profile in the same way, at ₹99 for 7 days. A boost affects only the position and prominence of a posting or profile; it does not guarantee applications, bookings, or any other outcome.
The Company may switch paid features on or off at any time, including while setup with a payment provider is being completed, and may add or withdraw products or change prices. Where purchasing is unavailable, the Platform says so at the point where the purchase would be made, and no order is created and no amount is charged. These Terms describe what is offered and on what terms; whether a particular purchase can be completed at a given moment is shown on the Platform itself.
Workers and employers may cancel a booking through the Platform at any time. A booking is only a record of an intended engagement between Users and does not constitute a binding contract with the Company.
A refund may be requested within 48 hours of a purchase. Where the request is valid, the purchase is refunded in full, and the refund is processed within 7 to 10 working days to the payment method the purchase was made with. Credits that have already been spent are not refundable; credits that are still unspent when a request is made inside that window are refundable. A boost begins serving as soon as payment settles and is therefore not refundable once bought, except where it did not serve — the job had ended or been withdrawn, or fulfilment failed on the Company's side — in which case it is refunded in full. Purchases are for the account that made them and are not transferable.
To request a refund, write to hello@apnachowk.com from the email address on the account, or with the mobile number on it, stating the date and the amount of the purchase. Where an amount is debited but the purchase does not complete, the Company either completes the purchase or returns the amount in full, and no request is needed for that to happen.
Users agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public, proprietary, or sensitive information accessed through the Platform, including Personal Data, contact details, profile information, job postings, communications, and booking details relating to other Users. Such information shall not be disclosed, reproduced, or shared with any third party except where authorised by the concerned User, required for the intended use of the Platform, or required under applicable law or by a competent authority.
The Company may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, in whole or in part, in the event of:
- Any breach of these Terms or applicable laws
- Compliance with any legal, regulatory, or governmental requirement or order;
- Submission of false or misleading information, fraudulent activity, misuse of the Platform, or any conduct that, in the Company's reasonable opinion, poses a risk to the Platform, its Users, or its operations.
Users may discontinue using the Platform or delete their account at any time. However, any rights, obligations, liabilities, or provisions of these Terms that by their nature are intended to survive, including those relating to payments, intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution, shall continue to remain in effect notwithstanding such suspension, termination, or discontinuation.
Users may report any job posting, profile, booking, communication, or other content that they believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any person. The Company may investigate such reports and, where it reasonably believes that a violation has occurred, remove or restrict the content, issue warnings, suspend or terminate User accounts, or take any other action it considers appropriate to protect the Platform and its Users. To report, use Report on a job or profile in the mobile app, where you can also block a person, or write to the Grievance Officer at hello@apnachowk.com.
The Company may also take such action where required by law, a court of competent jurisdiction, or any governmental or regulatory authority.
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, dispute, non-performance, payment default, or other claim arising out of or in connection with any interaction, booking, work arrangement, or engagement between Users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ApnaChowk shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or dispute arising out of or in connection with any work arrangement formed through the platform or the conduct of any user.
The Platform and all content, features, and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company disclaims all warranties, including those relating to accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In particular, the Company does not warrant that:
- The Platform will operate uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any job posting, profile, or information provided by Users will be accurate, complete, reliable, or current; or
- Any worker will be hired, any employer will engage a worker, or any booking or work arrangement will be successfully completed or produce any particular outcome.
The Company acts solely as an intermediary technology platform and does not guarantee the conduct, performance, quality, safety, or suitability of any User or any engagement facilitated through the Platform.
Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations submitted by Users regarding the Platform or the Services are voluntary and non-confidential. By providing such feedback, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate such feedback for improving the Platform and its Services without any obligation to provide compensation or attribution.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- your misuse of the Platform or the Services;
- your breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
- your violation of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights; or
- any dispute, claim, or liability arising from any arrangement or engagement between you and another User.
This obligation shall survive the termination of your use of the Platform.
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, governmental actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications outages, cyber incidents, or failures of third-party service providers.
The Company shall use reasonable efforts to restore the Platform and resume Services as soon as reasonably practicable.
The Company may modify or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, applicable laws, or business practices. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform and will become effective from the date specified therein.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue using the Platform.
The Company may, from time to time, modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or introduce new features, functionalities, or Services on the Platform to improve its operation, comply with applicable laws, or meet business requirements. The Company shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of any feature or Service. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Platform and applicable Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or the Services.
